Brandon tried to trick me in to cheering for the Sooners by saying Nebraska was leaving the Big XII, they were traitors, and I needed to root for the south. Yea, not gonna happen.
The stadium was AWESOME. Wish I had more pictures to show you, but Brandon read somewhere that they would only allow small lens point and shoot cameras and he believed them. I was willing to risk it and try to get it in. He didn't seem to want to chance having to hike the 2+ miles to take it back to the car. The ENTIRE state of Nebraska loves their one and only University and they were ALL there and they were LOUD! I think the stadium was split 70/30 in Nebraska's favor.
It was a quick trip, we drove down on Saturday morning and back on Sunday afternoon. It was so nice though! I totally enjoyed controlling the iPod, listening to what we wanted, reading uninterrupted and not playing DJ or DVD switcher-outer. The kids stayed with my parents and did great, memaw and pappaw on the other hand, probably need a few days to recover.
