FOUR!

Noah is four years old!

Noah, at age four, you are smart, funny, quirky, very cautious, and you hate loud noises and the idea that something might make a loud noise. You ask "why?" and every other question under the sun about EVERYTHING.

You LOVE school this year and are making so many friends. You come home every day and say, "I have a new friend 'so-and-so' there!" I am SO glad you enjoy going! You rarely bother saying bye to me when I drop you off, you are so ready to get to playing!

Your daddy and I are convinced you’re a genius, your memory is amazing! We’re not biased or anything. :)

Your favorites are playing trains, trucks, and cars, reading books, your state puzzle, and playing on playgrounds.

You love music. Toby Mac's "Lose My Soul" is still one of your favorites, we hadn't heard it in a while and when we heard it the other day, you said, "I like this song! Turn it up." They don't play it in Tulsa as often as they did in Houston! Some of your new favorites are "God of this City" and "Our God is Greater". Recently in the car you were pumping your fist in the air with the music "...if our God is for us then who could ever stop us, if God is with us who could stand against?" I'm sure you were just feelin' the rhythm, but it was as if you knew the power of the words. I loved it!! I think you like Sugarland's "Stuck on You", too! I love to hear your tiny, precious voice sing!

Three was a tough age for you. We had to make a lot of transitions over the past year...adjusting to your new baby sister, moving to Oklahoma, a new house, a new room, learning to share (still working on that one)...

I can't believe you've been in our lives four years, but then again it's hard to remember the 4+ years of our marriage that you weren't around!

We love you, big boy!! Happy 4th Birthday!
