Ellianna's Pink and Zebra Party

Finally my enormous post on Elli's birthday party!

It was so nice to get to host one of my kid's birthday parties at my house! I did not get to have any of Noah's parties (ages 1-3) at my own home while we were in Katy. It was so fun to plan and so much work, but so worth it!

Here's her invitation...This was my second pick for her invitation picture, but couldn't get it zoomed in far enough with that giant hat on her head.
Her cake turned out really cute! They wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for a fondant 1 on top so I made one out of scrapbook paper and glued it on a toothpick. Ha!
I made cupcakes too so we'd have enough chocolate cake (but really because I wanted to order these cute cupcake toppers from Etsy).I got these party favor tags from the same seller and the cookies from Etsy also.
Also loved these photo banners on Etsy, but didn't want to pay for them so I made my own!I also made her Happy Birthday banner. I am SO not crafty or creative, but I can scraplift with the best of 'em. :)I opted for poms instead of balloons this year. They are a lot more work than balloons! Brandon was like, how many do we have to do? Elli loved them though. The boys tried to stay as far away from all the pink as they could. My grandma and my cousin's baby, Evony. Loved them in their turquoise.Lillian and Ellianna.
Getting ready to open presents! She kept crawling away and I was left to do it by myself. (Memaw made her dress, isn't it precious?!)
Guitar shirt in honor of daddy. Sister loves the guitar, I think Brandon thinks she's gonna be his guitar player.
Doughnuts with interchangeable velcro toppings. Pawpaw Dale used to have a doughnut shop so these were a fun gift!Great grandma Naomi and pawpaw...Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Troy...
Eating the lipstick from her new talking purse.
Finally cake time! Noah wanted nothing to do with his cake, but we knew the way this girl loves food that she would be all about it.
Yummmmm!
What a fun, yummy mess! I finally had to take it away or she probably would've eaten the entire cake.
My cousin teaches Culinary Arts at a local college. She came straight to the party after working on a project at school. I told her I had to get a picture of the professional chef cutting my baby girl's birthday cake!
Noah loves Ellianna's new toys and we keep reminding him that they are hers.
Sharing is not his favorite word.
Brandon's dad's family before they headed home.
We were so thankful they all got to come. They drove about six hours roundtrip in one day!

Brandon and his mama...
Thank you so much to everyone who came and made Ellianna's first birthday extra special!
