A Boy and His Boat

Well, he did it. He finally bought a boat.
Brandon has had boat fever for over a year now.
He grew up fishing on the lake with his dad and couldn't wait to do the same with his son.
We saw it on Craigslist, went to look at it, and bought it the day after Memorial Day.  The guy that was selling it lives in our town and after some conversation, we figured out that we even go to the same church!
We took it for a test run that evening. Brandon couldn't wait.

Elli spent most of the time clinging to me and/or screaming.  She doesn't love the boat yet.

They had to drop us off at the dock so they could take it for a (faster) spin.

We were greeted by a beautiful sunset as we pulled in to our neighborhood.

The boys got up at the crack of dawn on Saturday and went fishing.

Noah was so excited to go (he's an early bird anyway).  He loved it!  I'm so glad he did.  Brandon has a new little fishing buddy.
