Elli had her Trunk or Treat at school on Tuesday while we were out of town with Brandon's business trip. My mom texted me this picture and I about hopped on a plane to get back to this cuteness. I hadn't seen her in her costume yet and I just melted!
We drove straight from the airport to the Fall Festival at a local church. They had played almost every game and were ready to get some ice cream (Elli) and popcorn (Noah) and go home.
Elli looking more like a rhinoceros than a princess on our way home. :)
Trick or Treat! Again, this year, Elli wanted to go inside the houses. So funny.
The Fall Festival at Noah's school was rained out in October so they had to have it in November. Still fun. We laughed every single time we saw Elli's little "buns" pop over the top of this inflatable slide. It was such a struggle for her to climb to the top.
Weeeee!
Partners in crime...
They got to pet some ponies. Sister loved.
They were so nice and quiet, unlike the dogs that she's encountered.
Brushing the pony.
Such a funny picture. Luke on his pony. Maybe he was pretending it was his tauntaun!
Sweet pony.
Playing putt-putt.
Where's the ball?
Throwing "cow patties" through toilet rings. Gross, but fun.
Back to the slide!
Sweet friends.

Luke and Leia
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
It's probably no surprise that my kiddos were Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia for Halloween.
"I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you!" "Away from my starship, laser brain!"
Oh. My. Stars.

Hey Baby, Let's Go to...Vegas?
Brandon had to go to a conference in Las Vegas at the end of October and asked me to go with him. I was hesitant to ask my parents to keep the kids again since we'd just gotten home from Kauai a month prior, not to mention the fact that Las Vegas is about LAST on my favorite places to visit.
I've seen the Grand Canyon from the air 4 times in the last month and a half. I'd love to see it from the ground some day! I think this picture is actually Lake Mead. I had to "turn off all portable electronic devices" before I could get a picture of the marvelous Hoover Dam.
Brandon's co-worker brought his wife as well. We were in the same high school graduating class. We had fun getting reacquainted as we explored Vegas shopping (and eating) during the day while the boys worked. Here's The Paris Hotel...
Brandon and me at the Bellagio Fountain show.
The fountain show is great! It was set to "One Singular Sensation" from A Chorus Line. I could have watched it all day.
It sounded like an explosion when the water burst out! Amazing. A sales rep from another company took us to dinner one night at the Bellagio. Fancy! :) We had such a fun time. We honestly laughed until we cried when they brought out dessert. They were the strangest edible things I've seen! Pictures wouldn't have done them justice.
New York, New York...
We visited the four story MandM's store and bought souvenirs for the kids.
We took a quick walk through the Bellagio Botanical garden beautifully decorated for fall.
The Venetian is amazing.
Inside, but it looks like you're outside...
The volcano show at The Mirage...

Lego Star Wars Party
Noah requested a "friends" party this year so we obliged. He wanted to invite everyone in the entire Kindergarten, I think. But we limited it to the boys in his class and a couple from pre-k.
Of course, we had a Lego Star Wars party. And another cookie cake ("with NO icing, mom!"). I saw SO many cute Star Wars cakes online, but of course none that were done without icing! I had to get creative and use Lego Star Wars character print-outs on toothpicks for Noah's cake.
He decided he would like to have a party at Bounce U. Here are daddy and sister (in her Return of the Jedi shirt) waiting for the party to start!
Weeeeeee!
The "party pro" turned off the lights and turned on black lights and spot lights at one point, I felt like I was at a lock in or something! The boys had so much fun with this challenging velcro wall. Noah ended up taking off his socks and rolling his jeans so he could have more traction! Ewww!
Noah's buddies waiting for pizza!
We had Palpatine Pizza...
Jedi Juice...
Warrior Water...
And Wookie Cookie Cake!
Happy Birthday to you (cha cha cha! and eat more chicken!) are lines that little boys have added to the birthday song.
Opening presents on the birthday "throne"...
The party favor bags have Lego hands holding light sabers and say Thank you for coming to Noah's party! It was fun to find party favors for this party. I found these neat light saber candies on Etsy and got the free printable stickers to put on Reese's peanut butter cups. We included stickers, a cup and some SW fruit snacks. I loved having the party at Bounce U. They took care of EVERYTHING! It was so nice. Noah is already thinking about where he wants to have his next party. Gulp. I told him I can't even think about it, let's just enjoy being six for right now!
