First Day of School!

Noah's first day of preschool was this week! Back in February when I signed him up, I was a little reluctant to do it. He still seemed like my baby, like I couldn't possibly send him off to school for 5 hours a day, two days a week. Well, seven months later, the day finally arrived, he was ready and he did great. I told him it was the first day of school and he said, "like Nemo!"
He was eager to wear his backpack and carry his nap mat. I'm not sure how much napping will take place on said mat, but we had to have one.

Ready for school, let's go!
When we went for meet your teacher day, obviously I got to stay with him so he expected me to be able to this time. You can see the cautious look on his face as he enters his classroom.
He got busy playing and didn't object to me leaving. He was in a great mood when I picked him up so I'm pretty sure he enjoyed his day, but it's hard to get much information out of an almost 3 year old boy (or any male for that matter). He gladly went back on Thursday so I hope that means he likes it!

(Don't look to closely at his hair. We decided at 7:00 on Monday night that he needed a "trim". I took about 3 snips over the ears and in front and I was finished. Brandon didn't think that was sufficient and went to town!! He's watched a lot more "boy's haircuts" than I have so he did great. Keep in mind our child despises having his hair cut. We have used grandmas the last two times and can't bring ourselves to step inside Cool Cuts for Kids again anytime soon. If you notice it's a little uneven, just smile and pretend it's supposed to be that way.)
