Before we jump full swing in to fall, I want to remember our fun end of summer activities.
We took a trip to the Kiddie Park the weekend before it closed. It had been too hot until then!
Noah rode more rides than he did last summer! Here he is on the bumper cars.
Horse and buggy.
He rode the boats three times, I think.
So serious.
The USS Bartlesville.
Our sweet Elli girl, on the other hand, did not have as much fun. We put her on these tiny cars with bubba right behind her and as soon as the ride started, she looked down and covered her eyes and froze in that position for the entire ride! I laughed until my cheeks hurt. I felt bad for her, but she wasn't crying, she's just so dramatic!
She liked the semi-truck with daddy. And the train was ok until we went through the tunnel and all the big kids screamed.
She insisted on riding the swings (I think she thought Brandon was going to stand there and push her), so when they started, she just looked down and froze, bless her heart. I took her on this turtle coaster thing with Noah and me and she was miserable.
I think the look on my face says how much longer is this ride gonna last?!? Noah's just chillin'.
We celebrated my birthday at Ted's Cafe Escondido! Elli girl loved the queso.Somebody told them it was my birthday so they put a giant pink sombrero on my head and sang very LOUD! They told the entire restaurant that I was celebrating my 21st birthday!
Elli didn't like it. She was so worried.
Noah loves to help open presents.
I think we went to the Broken Arrow pool every week in August. We love it!
Alexis got to join us one day while her mommy and daddy ran errands in Tulsa.
Elli got her first little haircut (if you can call it that) in August. Her bangs were out of control so when I took Noah to get his hair cut, I had the lady trim Elli's bangs. She wasn't sure what to think about it.
ummmmmmmmmmmm why didn't we go to the kiddie park or broken arrow pool? you didn't call me on the way to or from florida :( hope you had funners. call meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
