Our weekend started early last Thursday. Brandon took the afternoon off so we could spend some time with a great couple and their sweet boy who are on staff with GAiN Ministries through Campus Crusade. Soon they will be moving to Zimbabwe, Africa to serve with LIFE Ministry Zimbabwe, another arm of Cru!
I think if they would've been at our house a few seconds longer, Brandon would've been packing his bags to go with them. What they are doing is SO amazing and selfless! To learn how you can pray for or support them, please, please check out their
website.
I didn't get a great picture (as she's sliding down), but after Elli's nap, she snuggled with Jenny for the
longest time (keep in mind she'd never seen her in her life). It was SO funny.

That evening, we went to the Chris Tomlin concert. It was a great time of worship! We knew Christy Nockels would be there as well, but were bummed that she just sang harmonies and only got to lead one song. No offense, Mr. Tomlin, but you could've
totally shared the mic more.

Obviously, I do NOT know how to take pictures with the iPod.
Friday morning, I took Noah and Elli to tour the fire station with a MOMS Club in the area. Brandon gently told me that I wasn't going to meet anyone staying home :) so I took my sweet neighbor up on her offer to go along. We had a fun, quick tour of the firehouse and Noah has been playing fireman (with his hot,
fleece fire coat and hat on) ever since!

Saturday, we headed up to Miami to celebrate Miss Evony Violet's first year of life. Her mama totally transformed the church's fellowship hall in to a pink-cupcake-pom-pom wonderland. She did such an awesome job!

Pre-cake...

Post cake. Look at those delicious legs and pink iced toes!

Elli and Lilly, do they look ornery or what?!

Poor Noah had a scuffle with the pavement and the pavement won.

Sweet birthday girl partied out.

Sunday afternoon, we went to the Tulsa PAC to see Bill Cosby! So random, but we both loved the Cosby show as kids and thought it would be great to see him live before he gets too old to do what he's doing. He's getting up there! 73, I think he said.
He did sit-down comedy, no more standing for Bill. He's still got it though, he had us in tears at one point.

Another terrible iPod pic, but you get the gist.
H! How sweet are you?!?! Thank you for the shout out. :) Poor little Noah! Was that harder on him or YOU???
