Sorry to go on and on about the weather, but we've just never seen it like this before. We've heard it called the "Storm of the Century" (dramatic). My child has not been to school during the month of February. The temp yesterday morning was -12!! That was the actual temp, not the wind chill. Brandon had a conference call with some folks in northern Alaska yesterday and it was colder here than there. Insane.

My mom said she knew she was bored when she started coming up with new lyrics to old songs. You kinda can't help but sing 'Winter Wonderland' when you look out the window these days, but she gave the song some new words. Here's Oklahoma Winter Wonderland by Mama Bennett...

I don't know who wrote this song. It's kind of a cheesy one I've seen online. It's to the tune of 'Oklahoma'. I realize you Texans probably don't have that tune memorized, just enjoy the words... :)
