Mommy & Me

Last Friday night, the Chick-fil-A in our area hosted a Mommy & Me date night for moms and sons. It was SO neat. We had been talking about it all week and Noah was really looking forward to it. He even said, "daddy is staying home and Ehweanna is staying home." I was so surprised that he volunteered that information because sometimes I feel like he could care less if I'm around as long as daddy is present.

We arrived for our "reservation". All of the mommies got a rose and a picture with our boy. Then we were seated by the hostess, our names were even on the table. They had the section blocked off to look like a clubhouse, so cute.Here's Noah checking out the "clubhouse" and proceeding with caution. They had to put the giant cow in the kitchen so my child would sit down. Yes, he ruined the fun for all the other children. :)

Inside the clubhouse, the windows were painted, there were posters on the wall, Lightning McQueen, etc. and there was a boy playing children's songs on the mandolin.

It was so nice to have some time with my little guy, we need to make it a regular thing, he really enjoyed having my undivided attention.
