Trucks on Parade

We took Noah to our town's FFA rodeo sponsored parade this past weekend. It was SOOOO cold, but Noah loved the "puhtay" (parade). Our town is like the 'burb of all 'burbs, very Pleasantville-ish, I never knew there was such a large FFA population. They even had a livestock show that I took Noah to one morning. He loved getting to look at the cows, pigs, sheep, and rabbits.

Waving his flag waiting for the parade to start. He kept saying, "a putay now? a putay now?"
His favorite things were the horses:
Tractors (duh!):
And Firetrucks: (I had a picture of a firetruck, but I figured the grandmas would much rather see a picture of Noah getting excited about the firetrucks).

Oh! And he loved chasing the candy that everyone was throwing. At first, I think he was confused about why people were throwing things at him, but then toward the end we had to keep him from running out in the middle of the street to retrieve the candy! He wouldn't eat any of it, by the way.

  1. It has been so long since I have commented about your blog, I will see if I remember how.
Loved the parade pictures, especially the last one with that mouth-open excited expression (you are right, much rather see that than the fire truck!). You captured the "look".
