Great Wolf Trip

Several months ago, my Texas Bestie suggested we meet in Dallas after Christmas.  Great idea!  It had been WAY too long since we'd seen them!  It took us a while to get details firmed up and it's a good thing.  Erin's in-laws got them a night's stay at Great Wolf lodge for their anniversary.  They asked if we might want to stay there when we meet in Dallas.  Of course!  I've been looking for an "excuse" to stay there.

I laughed as I was packing...snow boots for nana's house and flip flops and bathing suits for Great Wolf.

We went straight from nana and pawpaw's house to Grapevine, TX.  Everything was decorated so cute for Christmas.

As soon as we could get checked in and get to our room, we changed and headed down to swim!
Noah loved the slides in the kid's pool.  He wasn't quite ready for the big slides.

That night we all went out to dinner and then back to the lodge for story time.

They thought it was party time instead of bed time.  Took them forever to get to sleep.  I think we finally ended up putting Elli in our bed!

The next day, we let the kids play in the Cub Club for a little bit while our men checked out of our rooms, then we enjoyed some more time at the water park.  Brandon and I were able to go on a couple of slides together while our friends stayed with the kids.  That was so much fun!

We stayed at a hotel in Frisco for New Year's Eve.  Elli enjoyed some complimentary hot chocolate on our way out to dinner.  :)

We decided to brave The Cheesecake Factory for dinner...fun and delish, but slow!

                           

Then headed to Dimples for Cupcakes! Here are Elli and Caroline post cupcakes! Mmmmm!
