This was the first Mother's Day that I've been away from my mom. It was the first Mother's Day (I think) that I didn't get to go to Miami and see all of my relatives and eat my grandma's wonderful home cooking. Instead, we had brunch at Denny's (not even a close second!).We managed to have a great family day despite being so far away from our moms. Brandon and Noah got me sweet cards, a Rachael Ray cookbook, and a CD. We played at the park, I took a lonnnnnng nap, and basically didn't lift a finger all day. It was quite nice.
I'm so proud and thrilled to be a mommy to this precious little guy. What a blessing he is!!!
