Risinger B & B

We've been blessed to have a few family members come visit us in the last week. My cousin Tiffany was here with her baby March 14-16 and Nana and Pawpaw were here March 18-23rd. We had so much fun!

Tiffany's Visit
Here we are on our way to our (FORMER) favorite Mexican Restaurant. Noah wasn't sure about sharing his car with another baby, but he got over it and enjoyed having the company.

Here's what happened when I tried to get a cute picture of Zale and Noah together: Apparently Noah did not have time for my cute little photo shoot, isn't Zale precious?

Nana and Pawpaw's Visit

Noah warmed right up to Nana just a little while after they arrived. It took a little longer for pawpaw, but a couple days later he was giving high fives and kisses to both of them (so sweet). Here are a few pictures from their visit.

Noah enjoyed hunting Easter Eggs with his Halloween pumpkin. Go figure!

We took Nana and Pawpaw to Old Town Spring. They had lots of cute little shops like this one.Noah insists on pushing his own stroller. His sweet daddy and pawpaw entertained him while Nana and I shopped.

We ate lunch at Wunsche Bros. Cafe (Delicious!!). Built in 1902, it used to be a saloon! What a cool, old place.

Noah was fascinated by this little fountain.

What a fun visit. Thanks for coming to see us Nana and Pawpaw!

Love,

Heather

Happy Easter!

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; HE HAS RISEN, just as he said! Matthew 28:5-6

We had a wonderful Easter, we hope you all did too. Brandon and his parents went to the Saturday evening service (Noah has a cold and we couldn't take him to the nursery) then Brandon went again with me this morning while his parents stayed home with Noah. We love our church! The service was beautiful. Afterward, we all went to breakfast.

My Inaugural Blog

I have been lurking, spying, and reading other blogs for months now so I decided it’s time I have one of my own. I mean, after all, I do have lots to talk about…changing diapers, reading stories, picking up toddler toys 87 times a day, washing and refilling sippy cups, playgroup…you get the picture.

But seriously, I wanted to do this in order to keep a journal for myself and give our family updates of our (Noah’s) goings-on.

I’m such a novice at this. I don’t have a fancy layout or a pretty headline, I’m not a creative writer, I’m not even sure I know how to post a picture, but I will figure it out, by golly!

So save this link to your favorites, subscribe to my posts (grandmas, are you still with me?) or just ignore it, it’s your call.
