Super Sunday

We had Super Sunday at church on Super Bowl Sunday.  It was to promote getting involved in a Sunday school small group, etc.  Everyone was encouraged to wear their jerseys.  It was so funny wearing jerseys and jeans to church!

The kids went Bedlam style...

Brandon wore a Tebow shirt (he's the man!).

I, of course, went with "my boy" Brandon Weeden.   Everyone was so confused that I was wearing a Cleveland Browns jersey until I showed them the name on the back.  This pic is for my brother, he's a big bweeden3 fan!

The Pink House

I've been on the hunt for a new kitchen table for me and a rocking chair for Elli, so I decided to go Claremore, OK.  They have a neat old main street lined with cute boutiques and antique shops.  We invited memaw to go with us and had a fun girl's day out.  I didn't find what I was looking for, but we did have a yummy lunch (and tea) and The Pink House!
Sipping her chocolate milk.
The Pink House needs a paint job,  it's more of a bashful pink now.

Prairie Boy

The Kindergartners just finished a series learning about Laura Ingalls-Wilder and "Little House on the Prairie" during their library time. To finish the series, they got to dress up like prairie children, read "A Little Prairie House", play a Little House quiz game, build log cabins with Lincoln Logs, and color log cabins.

I thought Noah looked so cute as a little prairie boy. We borrowed pappaw's suspenders and golf hat and got a chambray shirt at Old Navy!

100th Day

Noah recently celebrated the 100th day of school! They could make a shirt with 100 things on it or dress like a 100 year old!  We chose to make a shirt.  I found some fun space foam stickers at HobLob and we counted out 100 and put them all over his shirt!  They made a 100 piece snack mix and did some other fun "100" activities!

Royal-Tea

I am a royal daughter of royal birth.  My Father is King of heaven and earth; He reigns over all in the courts on high; a child beloved, a princess am I.

Our church's preschool department hosted a royal-tea for girls and boys and their mamas.  It was such a treat!
Here's my sweet girl on our way to the party.

"The court would like to welcome, Princess Ellianna!"
She wasn't too sure about walking down the red "carpet" in front of everyone.
They had a wonderful buffet tailored to preschoolers.  PBJs in the shapes of shoes, hearts and stars, little smokies, chips, fruit kabobs, cookies, etc.

Then, the king and queen read them a story.
And they blew bubbles and made princess sashes with pink markers and sticker jewels!
It was such a fun evening for my girl and me!
