Elli's First Pedi

Memaw and I gave Elli Belle her first pedicure earlier this month. She was so still and patient for me. She's still showing off her toes even though the paint has chipped and it's time for a fresh coat. She loves it.

Not sure about my face.  Guess I'm squinting trying to see those tiny toe nails.

Bubbles!

Ellianna finally got the hang of blowing bubbles one afternoon at memaw and pappaw's house. I just love her little face!

Mother's Day 2012

We had a nice, low key Mother's Day at my parent's house. My poor little grandma has shingles so of course we wanted her to rest and we didn't have our big family get-together.

My sweet boy did a questionnaire at school and gave the most hilarious answers (to me, anyway).  He got my name and age right and here are some of the other questions and answers:
She works: No where :)
She is very good at: Working
My mom's favorite thing to do is: Clean the house
My mom's favorite TV show is: Dr. Oz (HILARIOUS!  We never watch this, but he gave the same answer for memaw and nana on a similar quiz I found on Pinterest.  Love it.)
My mom's favorite store is: Reasor's (that's our local grocery store for you out of towners)
She likes to eat: Cereal for breakfast :)
She likes to drink: Water

So thankful for my kids.

THE Princess

I think I've documented Noah's love of Star Wars.  Elli can't help but like it too if she wants to play with big brother.  Of course, she's always Leia and he's usually Luke.  We just love how she says, "Pwincess Waya and Wuke Kywilker".  She calls R2-D2 "2D-2D".  She recognizes Chewbacca and says it in her most gravelly voice.  Oh my goodness, she's cute.

I printed the image on her shirt on iron transfer paper so she would have something to wear when Noah wears all his Star Wars garb. 

We laughed and said she's not gonna know any of the Disney princesses.  She's gonna get invited to a Disney princess party someday and be like, "who are these chicks?  Where's Leia?"

This day in particular they were "Wuke and Waya" on the ice and snow planet Hoth.  Thus the gloves and back pack (jet pack).  Not sure what role baby and stroller were playing.

Beauty Shop Tot

Miss Elli Kate got her first hair cut!  I just wanted to get it a little bit shorter for summer and clean it up.  She sat SO still and was so good.  I guess girls love a visit to the salon at any age!
