The Force

Noah LOVES Wars. It's so funny because he hasn't even seen the entire movie and doesn't care if he does. But he eats, sleeps and breathes Star Wars.  Of course, Brandon is thrilled because he was the same way.  He has the movies memorized and had all the toys as a kid.

Recently, the kids were watching their Cedarmont Kids video and Noah was running around with his light saber like a crazy man. When 'Happy and You Know It' came on he sang "if you're happy and you know it swing your light saber SWISH SWISH!"  Crack. Me. Up

I got him the Star Wars character encyclopedia and he just sits and devours it.  He loves it and talks about the characters non-stop!

Recently, they had a father-son Star Wars night at the library. Right up my boys' alley. They got to make light sabers, eat pizza, play Star Wars wii and even meet Darth Vader.

Pappaw's Birthday

We celebrated pappaw's birthday at Olive Garden this month.  Elli and Noah do NOT like when they sing happy birthday at restaurants and we told our server that we had b-day cake waiting for us so they brought him a decorated plate and candle in the Andes mint.
Sister luuuuuvs her big brother.
My dad's favorite cake, German Chocolate.

I wanted to get his OSU season tickets framed because, let's be honest, how often do we have a season like we just had? (hopefully more often now with Uncle Boone helping out, we'll see).  My mom and brother chipped in with me.  I took the tickets to Hobby Lobby with some pictures and the team record, Big XII and Fiesta Bowl Champs, etc. and I LOVE how it turned out!  They did such a good job and pappaw loved it!

Update

All two of my blog readers (my husband included) asked if I was ever going to update my blog. I can't believe it has been over a month since I've blogged!

We haven't done anything newsworthy.  Just livin' life and lovin' my babies!

Here's a quick recap...

We have been so blessed with a warmer than normal winter.
I took the kids to the zoo one day when we were having spring-like weather.

Look at the giraffe winking at us!  :)
Playing on the zoo playground.

Sister cool strutting her stuff at the zoo.

Noah also learned to ride his bike without training wheels!  It's good exercise for mommy and daddy too!

I think we only had one small snowfall this year.  We decided to bring it inside to play instead of going out in the cold.
The kids played "dress up".
We had a fun Valentine's Day.  The Valentine Fairy (memaw) delivered treats when we went to get Noah from school. We had to cancel our date because memaw (half of our babysitting duo) was sick and Brandon had a cold too.  We had a fun time staying home with the kids and eating heart shaped pizza and goodies.

Mmmmm, pink icing!
What do you get a boy for Valentine's Day?  Star Wars stickers!
Noah's Pre-K class sang the books of the Bible at Daily Depot one day.  So proud of them for learning that!  I didn't get a shot of him singing because I was taking video, but here he is afterward...
