Elli is finally tall enough to climb up in her rocking chair. Noah joined her and they had an impromptu rocking and giggling session that thankfully lasted well after I ran to get the camera.

Down in Southwest Oklahoma
We made a whirlwind trip down to SW Oklahoma a couple weeks ago to spend some time with Brandon's parents and grandma.
Love this action shot. Noah can't stand still very long for pictures.
Looking at the poor, starving prairie dogs.
Sister is such a ham for her great-grandma and great-grandma has a special thing for her namesake.
Trying to beat the heat, we made a visit to the Cold Front and got snow cones and ice cream (and a chocolate chip cookie for my silly non-ice-cream eatin' boy).
Brandon got some of his old toys out of the attic and Noah had a BLAST.
Ellianna is only allowed to have her paci in bed. Well, she found it on the table and sneakily swiped it. When we couldn't find her, she was hiding beside the hutch enjoying some quality time with paci.
She thinks I can't see her if she can't see me. Such a little mess. :)
Thank you for everything, nana and pawpaw!

Indoor Tulsa Run
I bet you didn't know there was such a thing, did ya? That's because it happened at our house. :) Noah came up with this one afternoon. It was really tough to keep him entertained on our 108 degree days and he needed to burn some energy! I made him a post-it-note race number, but when daddy got home, he pinned his real race numbers on Noah. Noah thought he was big time and even wanted to wear a hat like daddy did in his races.
So fast he's a blur! :)
Intense!The boyz.

Summer Fun Part 2
How is it already August?! For mine and my kids' memory book's sake, here's a CliffsNotes version of some of the fun things we did in July...
Fridays with Miss Shelly, beach theme day. Making volcanoes.
Memaw and pappaw were wonderful to watch you all for us so we could go to the Shane and Shane concert at Riverwalk Crossing. Jonny Diaz (Beautiful You, Beauty of the Cross) opened for them. He was so good. (Check out his Chick-fil-a song) So cute!
The Shanes...
They joked about our poor, dry Arkansas River. They just got back from Africa and said besides the big gold building in the background, it looked exactly like Africa.
Susan and her Wonder Dogs at the library...Elli girl, you loved those dogs.
Mama was desperate for air conditioned things to do. I even let you play at germy, stinky feet central when we went to the mall.
;
We braved the 134 degree weather and tried this fun park in Sapulpa.
Cute little fire station at the park.
Tire swinging with memaw.
Then we cooled off at Sapulpa's fun pool. You both loved it! Mama got so spoiled living in Katy and having a pool on every corner! I miss that. We're having to tour the entire Tulsa area just to find pools. I even forgot to bring cash! What? Pay to go to a pool? Like I said, spoiled.
Noah got to have a bowling "date" with pappaw.

Hosed
Disclaimer: Lest you think we are wasting water, these pictures were taken before our drought-filled "record shattering heat" and 20-something days of 100+ degree temperatures. :)
This boy loves to play in the water. He will say, "daddy, the yard is a little brown, you need to water", just so he can play in it.
I love his facial expressions in this pics!
