Little Miss Personality

This girl is such a ham! I wish you all could be around her so I could share her craziness and silliness with you! I'm not even gonna attempt captions, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Spring Break

A week late, but hey, I started this post, I'm gonna finish it! :)

We didn't do much over spring break, we had breakfast at Chick-Fil-A one morning. No one was there! Noah had the playground all to himself. So fun!

We had a couple nice days weather-wise and got to play outside..
Love the look of determination...
I put rice in the water table because it was still a little too cold for water play. I know he doesn't look like it in this picture, but Noah really loved it and asked to do it again the next day. He said, "it's ricey!"
Sweet sister pushing baby in the stroller.
Man, these pictures make me realize we need to get to work on the backyard. It needs some vegetation!
Thanks to memaw's help, I got to take Noah on a date while she watched Ellianna. He chose McDonald's and we had some good quality time.
We planned on going to the park one day, but it was colder and windier than we expected so we opted for a fun inside activity, bowling!
Eating popcorn with my girl.
Checking the scores. I'm sure Noah beat us one game.
When Elli wasn't trying to run away, she stood by the fan and let the wind blow her hair.

OKC Science Museum

Move over Disney World, the Oklahoma City Science Museum is officially "the happiest place on earth"! Well, according to Noah anyway.

Let me explain. This is Noah watching 'How It's Made'.

It's seriously his favorite show.
When we asked him why he liked it so much, he said, "the machines". I think he might be a little engineer-minded-brainiac.

He LOVED the museum. This is a giant "marble race". He spent tons of time here watching the "machine" carry the balls to the top then race back down again.
We got him a little pull-back racer space shuttle at the Houston airport last month and he watched Wall-E at memaw's house so he's been a little interested in space lately. He liked the big planets.
Gears!
Hoop v. disk downhill race.
Sister trying to put her bow back on.
This nature looking playground was so neat. Noah took off up the stairs and down the slide before I could blink. The slide was 3 stories tall! I couldn't believe he did it.
This is the tinkering garage. Lots of fun stuff to do in here.
Noah's favorites were the Lego race cars.
And building his own marble race.
His absolute favorite of the day was watching the model train exhibit. I think we stayed in here for an hour!
Sister McSassy struttin' around the train display.
They had jets and airplanes too!
One of Ellianna's favorite words is HAT! She loves hats. This was her favorite exhibit. :)
She loved the fish too.
And the giant water table.Of course that was one of Noah's faves too.
A view from upstairs.
My little astronaut on our way out. Such a fun place!

DIY

My girl is such a do it yourselfer! I'm sure it's normal for this age, but Noah was so reluctant or stubborn (not sure which) to feed himself that it seems so early to me that sister wants to.
Such a mess!
And yes, she still has her PJs on at lunchtime. You know those days when you don't go anywhere and you figure, she'll be so much more comfy for her morning nap if she just stays in her pajamas. Then when she wakes up it's time for lunch so why bother? It was one of those days. :)

Neighborhood Bounce Party

One of the moms in our neighborhood thought it would be a fun idea to have a party at Bounce U this winter when the kids were so tired of being cooped up. We had to cancel it during the big snowstorm (when that kind of party was much needed!) and finally got to have it last weekend.

It was so funny watching the dads. Boys never grow up, do they? :) They made everything a race.
Brandon took Elli down the slide. You can see how thrilled she was about that.
I just had to include this picture to show you Noah's drenched hair. He played SO hard and was sweating profusely!

If You're Gonna Play in Texas

We didn't have a fiddle in the band, but we did get to play in Texas last weekend! Houston to be exact. (How cheesy was that? Alabama? Anyone?) My parents kept the kids for the entire weekend. The longest I'd been away from them.

Brandon had a credit that was about to expire and I had an ache in my heart to see friends and Kingsland Baptist. We did have to buy one ticket. If someone would've told me three and a half years ago when we moved down there that someday we would spend money to go back and visit, I would've told them they were CA-RAY-ZY! :)

This is our weekend in iPod pics.
Waiting to take off from TIA. Our flight was late getting in to Houston. We had our hearts (and mouths) set on Maggiano's, we knew there was one next door to the hotel. Walked in at 9p to put our name on the list and they told us it would be an hour wait! At 9:00 at night! We were bummed, but decided Cheesecake Factory would suffice.

Houston's finest breakfast, Shipley Donuts!
Driving our sweet Avenger (yuck) through that good ol' Houston traffic.
After a delicious Mexican dinner at Alicia's...our sweet friends and hostesses with the mostest, the Lanes.
Waiting at the Houston airport. Our flight was delayed and we were ready to get back and see our babies!
That was a weak representation of our weekend. :) I don't take as many pics when I leave my camera at home and don't have my kiddos around to photograph!
