Big XII Champs

My sweet, sweet, selfless husband stayed home with the kids on Saturday so I could go to Bedlam!! It was SO. MUCH. FUN! (This is where you should probably stop reading, hubs.)

Maybe he just had a feeling about how bad it would be and didn't want to be in attendance.  Either way, I'm glad I was able to go and I owe him one!

I rode along with my parents and we got to stop and see sweet baby Easton before the game.  There was rain in the forecast so I was afraid to take my camera.  This is our day in iPod pics...
We made it in time for "The Walk". This is where the band, cheerleaders, players, and coaches walk from the Union to the stadium.  This one's for my Elli, she loves Pete!

Coach Gundy...
The game was SO good!!  After we stomped the Sooners 44-10 and won the Big 12, the students (and probably some adults) rushed the field and tore down both goal posts.
We were there!!  My brother, Ryan and I.
Insanity.
Woooohoooo!!
Teach me how to Gundy!  Showing off his dancing skillz in the locker room.
They did the trophy presentation in the locker room so we had to watch the jumbo tron.
How 'bout them Cowboys?!!!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a fun Thanksgiving weekend with family.  Our family held the Thanksgiving celebration at my grandma's church because we've outgrown her house!  The kid's table that used to have 4, now has 17 as we've all gotten married and had kids of our own!

Sweet cousins Elli and Alexis...

The little ones (and daddies and pappaws) played baseball ALL afternoon!

Coloring break.

We went to grandma's house for a little while and Noah got to shoot pappaw's BB gun.
This picture cracks me up.  He looks kinda scary with that gun, but he was just so excited that he hit the target!
Noah could have stayed at grandma's all day.  He had a blast playing down by the creek.  It just got dark too soon!
We drove to SW OK on Friday and celebrated with Brandon's family.
There was a Star Wars marathon on all weekend and Noah got his first glimpse of it.  He was in love.  Brandon couldn't be more proud. :) He was building X-wing fighters and TIE Fighters out of daddy's old Construx ALL weekend.
Grandpa Gary came over to visit.
Thank you nana and pawpaw for a fun (food-filled) weekend!

Thanksgiving Program

Noah had a Thanksgiving program at preschool last Tuesday.
All the kids in the Pre-K class got to say a line throughout the program.  Noah was adamant that he did NOT want a line, but they finally talked him in to saying, "thank you for coming!"  It was precious!  He did this little nervous laugh afterward and then looked at me and gave me a big thumbs up.  Everyone in the audience giggled at his cuteness.
His class...
Sister LOVED it.  She sat so still and was totally mesmerized.  They sang some of the fun songs that Noah sings at home so she was thrilled.

Bedlam Day

It's Bedlam week in the great state of Oklahoma!  Noah had Bedlam day at preschool and memaw was gracious enough to let that crimson fabric in her house and make him a "house divided" shirt.  As much as I would have loved to send him to school in all orange, I was trying to be fair.
I thought it turned out pretty cute.
GO POKES!!!!

Curly Sue

I simply delight in the differences between boys and girls!

Recently, my mom gave me some rollers that she used to use on my hair.  Miss Priss Elli Kate let me roll her hair last week and she patiently wore them until her hair dried!  We were not blessed with any natural curl whatsoever so it was just tickled me to see her with some curl!

Super cheese...

Trunk or Treat

Noah had Trunk or Treat at school on Thursday.  We volunteered our trunk so of course I had to dress my girl up too so she could participate!
Sweetest.
Cheesiest!
Memaw and pappaw came to help out too.  We had fun rummaging through their "dress up closet" for costumes.  I guess we're pioneer/farmer people.  :)  I've never participated in a trunk or treat, so I wasn't sure what to expect.  Some were way more elaborate than mine and some had no decor so we did ok for our first showing.  Trunk decor by Dollar General courtesy of memaw and whoever handed out the OSU pom pons.
Is he not the most handsome pilot you've ever seen?  :)
Air Force and Navy men.

On Halloween night we went to a Fall Festival.  Here's my little butterfly...
First stop, memaw and pappaw's house.  Since Noah doesn't eat candy, memaw stocks his bucket full of Fritos, Nutter Butters and popcorn!

Playing games at the carnival...

We trick or treated a few houses in our neighborhood.  Elli didn't love it.  She couldn't figure out why we rang the doorbell, got candy and left.  She tried to go inside every house. I guess she wanted to stay and visit or check out their paint colors and decor, oh wait, that was me. She got tired of carrying her pumpkin and just got tired in general so we called it a night.
